EKIN CHAPMAN
FOUNDER & DESIGN DIRECTOR
Born in Istanbul, Turkey, Ekin has lived a life shaped by movement ; from Paris and Barcelona to Hong Kong, and now Perth, Western Australia, where she has been based for over a decade.
Ekin is an interior architect with a Master’s degree in Architecture and over 20 years of local and international experience, specialising in high-end residential and hospitality design. Throughout her career, she has delivered projects across Australia, Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
Prior to founding Atelier E & Co., she worked with leading global design practices including Woods Bagot and Benoy, and most recently served as Design Director at Stickman Tribe. She also led her own studio in Hong Kong, focusing on high-end residential projects in early 2010’s.
Her portfolio includes a wide range of projects, from high end residences for significant clients across Europe, Asia, Middle East, Africa and Australia to creating exceptional interior spaces for top-tier Hospitality,Retail and Commercial brands worldwide.
y work draws from art, fashion, literature, music, cinema and craft, yet it always begins with authenticity and context. I’m interested in interiors that feel deeply connected to place and people,while expressing material, form and colour with imagination and refinement.
